Did you know that when you have a grandma or a grandpa, there are guidelines for how best to take care of them? There are all sorts of special things you need to do to make them feel loved. Now here at last is a manual packed with advice, pointers, and helpful hints. For instance, you need to dance for them, sing to them, draw pictures for them, and even hold their hand when they cross the street! It’s also very important that sometimes you take a nap with them (so that they’re not the only ones). But most importantly, you need to give them lots of hugs and kisses—because that’s what grandmas and grandpas like best!

What a Wonderful, Caring Children’s Book! It teaches our children to respect their elders, be compassionate and loving towards them :swoon It reinforces strong family bonds while spending time and having tons of Fun with your Grandparents!

The Illustrations are full of expression!

About the Author.. Click on Sally’s Photo to learn more…

Sally Lloyd-Jones worked in children’s book publishing for several years where her job was basically to come up with funny ideas for what books can do (pop, flap, bounce, rock, float, squeak, tick) and write stories and rhymes to go inside. In 2000, she left to write full-time.

An avid runner (sometimes of marathons), Sally loves taking photographs with her toy camera and tries her best to keep the Wolf from the Door.

Sally lives in Manhattan and enjoys dividing her time between the front half of her apartment and the back.

Illustrator Michael Emberley has been writing and illustrating children’s books for almost twenty-five years. He illustrated Happy Birth Day! by Robie H. Harris as well as You Read to Me, I’ll Read to You: Very Short Stories to Read Together by Mary Ann Hoberman. Michael lives in San Diego, California.
