Are you the type of person who hates seams touching their feet?  I know I am, I can’t stand when my socks twist and the seam is under or above my toes or anywhere that it shouldn’t be.  Well, let me introduce you to SmartKnitKIDS.

SmartKnitKIDS socks are truly seam-free, they hug little feet, are non-binding, keep your feet from stinking, and have a unique no heel design.  Oh and don’t forget that they are made in the USA!

With SmartKnitKIDS you don’t really have to worry about sizes either because their sizes are based on the type of sock you want to wear rather than the size of your foot, which is AWESOME because I have the hardest time finding socks to fit me correctly.  However they do have a sizing chart (see below).

Since the socks do not have heels in them it’s easier to find the right size.  Also, these socks are made for boys and girls.

You can get SmartKnitKIDS in the following colors:

About SmartKnitKIDS

Tired of hearing her son scream “these sock seams keep bugging me,” a mom decided something needed to be done.  Every “seamless” sock her son tried had seams in it; there was not a truly seamless sock available.  After explaining the frustrating morning routine to countless friends of her son’s struggles with socks, she was finally given the name of Knit-Rite, a textile manufacturer, and contacted them with her request for a seamless kids sock.

After several requests for seamless socks from “desperate” parents, SmartKnitKIDS socks were created.  Knit the same way a caterpillar spins its cocoon, SmartKnitKIDS socks are started at the toe and worked up toward the ankle.  This process insures a 100% seamless sock, so there are no seams to bug ya!  A form-fitting design also keeps those annoying lumps and bumps out of the socks.

Since its launch in 2003, SmartKnitKIDS continues to find new markets and grow every year.  Super soft material and a seam free design make it the most comfortable kid’s sock on the market.

SmartKnitKIDS come in a color for every personality: white, black, pink, purple, and navy.  Ankle, crew and knee-high styles are available up to a youth size 8.

My Review

OK, so you know the basics of the socks.  Let me just tell you how much we love them.  When I first gave a pair to Thaddeus to try out he commented how they were very warm (he has very cold feet like I do).  I was lucky enough to get a couple pair of the adult versions to try out for myself.  I received two different kinds, the normal SmartKnit socks and also the SmartKnit socks with heels, that’s right, they do have some with heels.

With the kids versions of the socks we received three different sizes and at first I didn’t understand why.  Why would I get three sizes for one kid?  Well, that’s because of the way they are made.  Technically they are all the same sock, just longer.  Since they have no heel a toddler wearing a size 4-8 shoe and wanting a crew sock would wear the same size sock as a toddler wearing a 8-12 show but those would be ankle socks (see chart above to see how it works).  So, Thaddeus got a pair of Medium (white), Large (blue), and X-Large (black) and you can see how each pair fits him.  The first image is just the ankle socks, the next picture is one ankle and one crew, and the third picture is one knee-high and one crew (all in order).

SmartKnit (Adult)

There really isn’t much more I can add when it comes to these socks, other they they are awesome!  As I mentioned before, I HATE the feeling of seams on my feet, especially when I’m in thin socks at work because they always tend to twist on me.  Well, with these socks it doesn’t matter if they twist, slide down, or anything, they still fit the same.  As much as I liked the ones with the heels, I’d have to say that I like the non-heeled ones better because I don’t have to worry about them fitting properly.  I have pretty small feet and even when I buy the socks labeled for shoe sizes 4-9, 99% of the time they are too big for me.

The first image is of me in the heeled design socks and the second one is a picture of both types of the adult socks (heeled are white, non-heeled are black).

The more I wear these socks the more I am liking them!  I’m definitely adding them to my Christmas list this year and so should you!
