We all remember what it was like as children and asking our friends during lunch time what they’re mom packed for them and seeing if anyone would trade with you.  Well, there are alternatives to the PB&J’s and other boring lunches.  Thanks to Safeway Inc. and Warner Bros.’ Looney Tunes, they have teamed up to create Eating Right Kids™ that will bring you meals, snacks, cereals, and drinks that your children will just love!

Eating Right Kids is a full line of foods that are not only tasty, but better for your children.  They have been formulated to standards based on the most recent dietary recommendations and regulations from several federal and state agencies.

We were given the opportunity to test out Eating Right Kids recently.  We received one full meal, that Thaddeus devoured the entire thing. What I liked the most about it, other than the fact that he ate an entire meal is that they are convenient.  When you are a working mom (or dad – or both) and always on the run with work, school, kids, etc., you just don’t have the time to cook full meals for lunch that day before you had out.  Pop a couple Eating Right Kids items into a lunch box and you are all set.

You can get all kids of foods, they have breads, chewy bars, fruit cups, pudding (fat free), juice, fruits and vegetable packs, canned pasta, frozen entrees, and kids pasta, just to name a few things.  Each item is even packaged with the logo of your favorite Looney Tunes characters (Bugs, Tweety, Taz, Sylvester, etc).
