Your busy mom lifestyle dictates quick get-on-the table meals, but how do you prepare and cook a delicious meal at the end of your busy day when you are simply out of time and energy?
It’s simple! Here’s how: Make-Ahead Meals for Busy Moms Cookbook. This is Jane Doiron’s cookbook of savory, family-favorite recipes that were individually home-tested and selected. Make Ahead Meals are:
• Simple to prepare.
• Simple to assemble ahead of schedule.
• Simple to freeze ahead.
• Simple for the whole family to enjoy.
Jane Doiron helps you, a very busy mom like herself, to put a fabulous dinner on the table every night for friends, or just for the family, with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of flavor.
Jane’s goal was to seek out main dish, family-favorite recipes that could be make ahead meals without sacrificing the food’s taste and texture by freezing. After years of home-testing recipes, Jane has compiled this must-have cookbook with specific make-ahead directions. In addition, Jane includes her best recipes for clever side dishes, flavorful appetizers and luscious desserts. Imagine opening your freezer to pick out a family-favorite appetizer, main dish, or dessert, and all you have to do is thaw and heat it!
Make-ahead meals are a healthy and economical alternative to take-out and preservative filled, pre-packaged foods.
With make ahead meal planning, you are making fewer trips to the grocery store, and saving money otherwise spent on unhealthy, take-out and fast foods. It’s simple. Give yourself a break during the hectic weeknights with Jane’s make-ahead meal recipes. Spend the time that you save outside of the kitchen doing something that you enjoy.
As you know by now, the girls and I luv cooking! So, when Jane sent this Cookbook, we were ready to pick out some yummy recipes and strap on our aprons!
I luv the bigger font and easy to follow directions in this 140 recipes cookbook.. Make-Ahead Meals for Busy Moms, it also makes it extremely Kid-Friendly for when they want to help out.
Who doesn’t luv to Save $$? This cookbook will help you eliminate or atleast cut down on your take-out, which we all know that it can get pricey quick!
I received as a gift, an Italian Dipping Oil Set, so the first recipe I wanted to try out was the Italian Bread Dipping Oil. This is so super easy to prepare and it turned out just like restaurant quality. We had this with with our Italian bread and spaghetti.. Yum!
Our family luvs Ham, so the recipe the kiddo’s wanted to help with to surprise Dad for dinner, is the Cheesy Pasta, Ham, and Peas. The girl’s did have an ulterior motive, they love anything with cheese and pasta (plus, who doesn’t luv Cheez Whiz?), so this was going to be even a bigger treat for them! This also turned out wonderful and tasty! A definite mark-the-page Favorite!
How does Chicken and Spinach Tortellini Soup sound on a chilly night? This one is planned within the month at our household.
There is even a recipe for Christmas Bark that I’m going to make and wrap in colorful Saran Wrap with a bow for a neighborhood gift when it gets closer to the Holidays.

About the Author…
Make-Ahead Meals for Busy Moms holds a Special place here at home for me, since I’ve come to know Jane and have been on other online sites with her for a while now.) She is an Amazing Lady
I am a mother of two sons and an elementary school teacher with a true passion for cooking. I am continuously searching for and trying recipes for new foods and different cuisines and introducing them to my family. After enjoying a delicious meal at a restaurant, I will go home and do the research to re-create it. I feel so gratified when people enjoy my foods that a few years ago I hosted my own website of favorite recipes, just so that my family and friends could conveniently get them online.
My passion for cooking has evolved into the publication of my first cookbook, Make-Ahead Meals for Busy Moms. I found that despite my love of cooking, I was often tired after work and lacked the motivation to produce a great meal day after day. In search of a better way, I turned my family-favorite meals into make-ahead meals.
Through years of experimenting with my recipes in the kitchen, I learned what meals tasted just as great after being frozen and what meals were not acceptable to freeze. While some meals didn’t freeze well, they allowed for preparation the night before, ultimately saving time the following day. Unlike other make-ahead cookbooks, I didn’t stop at main dishes, I include make-ahead directions for appetizers, side dishes, breads, desserts and soups. I am hopeful that many busy moms will find my make-ahead recipes both beneficial and delicious, which will be the ultimate compliment to this cook!
I’d like to shout out a Special Thanks to Jane for sending us this money-saving, delicious cookbook to review!
