For Faithful Friends is all about overcoming our fears and empowering ourselves with faith. As in this case, we often overcome our own shortfalls by putting others ahead of ourselves. Once the turtle learned that his friend was in danger, he set aside his own fears to save him, thus saving the mouse’s life and himself from a lonely fate as well. I hope each and every child will learn the value of faith and compassion from this story. We all need a Faithful Friend to rely on as we go through this life.
Written in the poetry format and is appropriate for infants to the 8 year olds. This special friendship between a mouse and turtle shows compassion, caring, and trusting in God in their adventures. The cute illustrations add an extra “warmth” to the story. It shows that a Faithful Friend is certainly one to hang onto!

Inside Out is a fun story about the little frog who thought God had made a mistake and made him ugly. It is about learning that beauty is truly found on the inside and that each of us has our own gifts to offer the world and that we are all beautiful in our own way, just as God made us.
Little Froggie feels alone, and that no one likes him. Owl helps to give him positive self-esteem by encouraging him to croak and find out just how many friends are out there. He tells Froggie that God has a job to fulfill us all, and he specifically has given Froggie the ability to croak and fill our world with “music”.
Once again, the simple, but unique Illustrations have added so much to the story. I luv the encouraging messages the Author has written into the compassionate stories.

Elmer The Christmas Elf is the newest in the growing list of my children’s books and is one of my personal favorites. Elmer is overcome with grief when he discovers he has missed sending a toy with Santa to one child and he doesn’t know how he will get that missing toy to the little boy. He prays for help and an angel hears his plea and helps him with the answer he needs and then Santa saves the day on Christmas morning when he solves the problem in a most unusual and heartwarming way. It is a solution that Elmer is overwhelmed by and it makes his Christmas, not just knowing that the problem was solved, but also knowing how much he is loved by all the boys and girls he works so hard for each year.
Poor Elmer the Elf, he’s so upset that he forgot to send a toy with Santa. His biggest worry is that a child will not get a gift, and feel very sad. He decides to pray about it.
Soon, an angel appeared and told Elmer not to worry that his gift was deep from within.
To give at Christmas with a joyous heart Is to share the love of God
And there is no greater gift from Him
Than His love, of which you’ve got.
Elmer helps to teach the Kiddo’s that it’s what is inside you and your belief in God that’s most important at Christmas. This is a great message to remind children during the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season.
