This book was a touching, and at times a hard read for me. As a lot of you know, I lost one of my Son’s to type 1 diabetes at a young 25 years. I’m so glad to learn that Chris and his wife are continuing to really help other children by giving them the self-confidence and opportunities to show themselves and others that they can do anything their heart desires! They are making a positive difference!
I highly recommend this book for any child whether overcoming a challenge or not! It is such a positive read for all!
About the Authors.. 
Chris Dudley retired from the NBA after 16 successful years and has type 1 diabetes since the age of 16. In 1994, the Chris Dudley Foundation was formed to educate others about diabetes. The foundation is an advocate for all people living with the disease. It joins with global partners to advance the diabetes community and to empower & encourage everyone to Dream Big. Chris is a graduate of Yale University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science in 1987. He lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon with his wife, Chris, and their three children.
Chris Love-Dudley, co-founder of the Chris Dudley Foundation, has been passionate about her work with the foundation since it’s inception in 1993. She has been instrumental in creating many programs designed to empower children living with diabetes. She is a devoted wife and mother.
